Position: Parts Interpreter (Workshop) – Finley
Salary: Negotiable based on Skills and Experience
Our Finley Dealership is one of our largest branches within the Hutcheon and Pearce Group. Enjoying multiple harvest seasons year round means our Service Department is thriving!
We are looking for a skilled parts interpreter to coordinate the parts supply for our service department.
This role is responsible for selling, receiving and the dispatch of parts, merchandise and attachments for the Company’s biggest customer – The Service Department.
Experience, Skills and Qualifications:
We’re looking for a hardworking team player who has the ability to fit well within a close-knit team. A customer service driven individual with exceptional communication and negotiation skills, excellent attention to detail and ability to organise and prioritise.
The ideal candidate will have a solid technical background in agricultural machinery . Parts Interpreting qualifications and fork lift licence are preferred but not essential.
The role would ideally suit an ex agricultural mechanic.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Researches and interprets parts requirements
- Places Machine Down and Stock Orders
- Verifies receipting-in of shipments and assists with delivery to proper inventory locations
- Assists with preparing and maintaining merchandise displays
- Assists in keeping parts department clean and orderly
- Follows up on back orders and shortages, advancing issues by reporting to the manager
