While traditional mobile networks often struggle to reach remote farming areas, JDLink Boost uses satellite technology to deliver reliable, high-speed internet connectivity right to your equipment in the field. This means you can access real-time data, monitor your machines, and make informed decisions regardless of how far you are from the nearest mobile tower.
The system integrates seamlessly with your existing John Deere equipment and precision agriculture tools, ensuring that distance from cellular coverage areas no longer limits your ability to leverage modern farming technology.
How does JDLink Boost work?
JDLink Boost operates through a streamlined data transmission process that begins with the JDLink™ Modem capturing machine and agronomic data from your equipment. The modem then broadcasts this data via Wi-Fi to the satellite terminal, which sends the information to the internet and cloud through the satellite network until it reaches the Operations Center platform. For messages transmitted from the Operations Center back to the machine, the same path is followed in reverse, ensuring seamless two-way communication between your equipment and John Deere’s digital systems.
