Yes. For the Certificate 3 in Agricultural Mechanical Technology, you will attend 6 weeks of formal training in the first 3 years of your Apprenticeship at the TAFE Primary Industry Centre in Wagga Wagga. For our Parts apprenticeship we offer this via Microsoft Teams where you can attend classes virtually within business hours with TAFE. Ad hoc opportunities to attend block training for in-depth training focusing on Customer Service and Auto Fundamentals are offered in your 2nd year.

You will develop product knowledge, how to present and promote automotive products along with learning about safe working practices in an automotive workplace, how to communicate, respond to customer needs and build customer relationships.
You will learn all things Inspect, Service and Repair with specific areas of focus on Engines, Electrical and Hydraulics. We align your formal training with John Deere University to ensure we provide you product specific training. Our aim is to offer you training to build a broad skillset for post apprenticeship pathways and to continue to focus on offering our customers the best Service.
Yes. Hutcheon and Pearce offer above award wages, and you have an annual increase as you progress through your apprenticeship.
If you are successful in gaining an Apprenticeship with our High-Performance Academy, we offer a dedicated Training and Apprenticeship Coordinator who will support and mentor, you throughout your entire Apprenticeship. This extends to but is not limited to your onboarding including enrolment into TAFE and ensuring you understand what is expected of you throughout your Apprenticeship. Progress reports around your competency to ensure you are understanding what you are learning. Insight into incentives and subsidies offered to you from the Government including Living Away from Home allowance, the Australian Apprentice Training Support payment and the Vocational Training and Assistance Scheme.
