3G NETWORK WILL BE OFFLINE FROM JUNE 30 2024!
With the Telstra 3G network going offline at the end of June it is essential that you upgrade the effected modems to the 4G-R Modem to remain operational.
WHO NEEDS TO UPGRADE?
- All 3G Modems will be require upgrade to remain connected,
- Some 4G-LTE Modems will require updating due to frequency incompatibility. These connect to some 4G bands however there was a change made to the Telstra transmission frequency which has meant that these modems are only communicating on 3G.
COSTS:
Under the H&P and John Deere Modem Replacement Program some modems will have both parts and labor covered, others will be parts only and some will not be covered.
Check your machines paired modem in John Deere Operations Center, contact your local branch or TECSight to find out what type modem each of your machines have.
2G or 3G modem upgrade to 4G-R Modem:
- $2,200 inc. gst* fitted
- $1,650 inc. gst* not fitted
4G-LTE modem upgrade to 4G-R modem:
- $1,100 inc. gst* fitted,
- $550 inc. gst* not fitted
