HIGH PERFORMANCE ACADEMY PROGRAM
HIGH PERFORMANCE
CULTURE
It’s no secret that at Hutcheon & Pearce we aim to be leaders in our industry and a dealer of choice for our customers. We believe that our people are
pivotal in helping us meet this goal. We focus on our team by:
Being selective with who we employ – we only hire the best, most driven, most committed people who are willing to further their career. We encourage our employees to strive for professional development and have the tools in place to ensure their continued growth.
Creating our own training centre – the High Performance Academy is specifically designed to keep Hutcheon & Pearce at the top of their game. It is our investment in the success of our employees, and therefore our business and our communities.
Offering opportunities to up-skill – Our Grow, Manage, Lead programs provide learning to employees at any stage of their career, from our apprentices and trainees through to our up and coming leaders of tomorrow and everything in between.
THE HPA
DIFFERENCE
Our HPA apprenticeship program is tailored to meet the needs of our growing organisation.
As a HPA recruit, you will undertake both Hutcheon & Pearce and John Deere-specific training, all while completing a nationally recognised trade qualification.
As a H&P apprentice, you will:
- Learn on John Deere machinery in our purpose-built classroom
- Use John Deere and Hutcheon & Pearce systems and resources
- Apply your learning to a specific product range from day one
- Develop immediate, practical and transferrable skills
- Earn while you learn
- Become the Best of the Best!
What makes Australian Ag Attractive?
The agricultural industry is constantly evolving and so is the machinery that enables Australian farms to be the world leaders in food and fibre production. With more technology than ever before, and a healthy future outlook, the agricultural industry offers a broad range of career opportunities. If you’re mechanically-minded, thrive on being challenged and want a diverse set of skills that will stand the test of time, a Hutcheon & Pearce HPA Apprenticeship may be the perfect career kick-start for you.
SUPPORT FROM THE BEST
Our support is not just limited to the formal training you get at TAFE. Hutcheon & Pearce managers and mentors provide ongoing on-the-job training and coaching for the duration of your apprenticeship and beyond.
For a lot of our apprentices, this is their first time out of home. For this reason, we have a dedicated Apprentice Co-Ordinator to help support and guide you as you navigate this exciting time.
THE SKY'S THE LIMIT
Your training doesn’t end once you finish your apprenticeship. Our people are offered extensive training and development throughout their careers, giving them additional skills and specialist knowledge, as well as the opportunity for career progression. With 20 branches, four departments and a multitude of different positions across the company, the possibilities are endless. There are two key areas our apprentices and trainees work in:
-
Service Technician: Performing diagnostics, service, repairs and maintenance work, our Service Technicians are the frontline in keeping our customers running.
- Parts Sales Representatives: Providing parts, merchandise and attachments to individual farmers and direct to the Hutcheon & Pearce Service Department, our Parts Interpreters provide timely service & advice.
