From maintenance to automation, Hutcheon & Pearce’s recent clinics delivered practical, hands-on support to help farmers prepare for harvest.
The past few weeks have sure been busy here at Hutcheon & Pearce as our Precision Ag and TFS teams rolled out numerous successful Ops Center and Harvester Clinics across several locations around NSW.
As we prepare for the busy harvest season, Hutcheon & Pearce aim to ensure every farmer is equipped with the knowledge, skills and tools to optimise their operation. Our Ops Center Clinics, held at Griffith, Finley, Wagga and Temora, were highly valuable days covering everything from basic Operations Center functions to new features. Our General Harvester Clinics, held at Gunnedah, Dubbo, Temora, Griffith, Albury and Finely, were value packed sessions that delved into maintenance, set-up and optimisation tips for combines, preparing farmers for the season ahead. On top of the general harvest clinics, our team also put on a series of Harvest Automation Clinics across, Wagga, Albury, Wee Waa, Gunnedah, Dubbo, Forbes, Temora and Finley. These clinics were tailored to customers with new machines to help them confidently set up and operate the new ultimate technology to prepare for harvest.
Ops Center Clinics:
As farming technology continues to rapidly advance, there is so much available for farmers to enhance and streamline their farming operation with more precision and efficiency. The precision ag journey looks different for every operation which is why we tailored our clinics with two sessions; one for beginners and one upskill/refresh for those more familiar with Ops Center.
The PA team covered everything from the essential basics of Ops Center and JD apps to the latest features and capabilities. It was fantastic to see such big numbers at these clinics with lots of farmers engaged and passionate about getting the most out of their machines and digitally optimising their farms.
Harvest Clinics
Our General Harvester Clinics saw an incredible turnout, with farmers eager to upskill ahead of the busy harvest period. The TFS team delivered comprehensive sessions that covered everything from pre-season maintenance checks to in-field setup tips, ensuring machines were ready to perform at their best.
Farmers also gained insights into the latest technology available to optimise their harvest, including guidance on settings, calibration, and data capture. The clinics were a great opportunity for growers to ask questions, troubleshoot common issues, and walk away with practical knowledge to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.
Automation Clinics:
Tailored specifically for customers with new machines, our Automation Clinics focused on unlocking the full potential of the latest John Deere technology. These sessions were designed to build confidence in using advanced automation features like Ground Speed Automation.
Attendees were guided through step-by-step setup processes and shown how to integrate these tools into their harvest workflow. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive, with many farmers expressing excitement about the timesaving and performance-enhancing capabilities now at their fingertips.
Across NSW, Hutcheon & Pearce’s clinics have proven to be a vital resource for farmers preparing for harvest.
